The team behind “TUNE BACK (time)” invites you to explore the piece’s movement systems for yourselves.

Led by the artistic directors Cindy Hammer (choreography / dance) and Susan Schubert (production dramaturgy), the workshop begins with an intensive Tune In – a warm-up that activates the body and the senses.

From there, we delve into the movement worlds of “TUNE BACK (time)”: we examine movement patterns, rhythms and systems, moving forwards and backwards, repeating, shifting, mirroring and altering sequences. In doing so, time is not merely conceptualised but physically experienced – as something that can be accelerated, slowed down, rewound and reassembled.

To conclude, it’s time to Tune Out: we let the movement fade away, return to ourselves and perhaps take away a new perspective on time and movement.
